Wow! What a difference a year makes. Last year we were buried in snow...This year we are doing yard work in January! I, for one, am looking forward to the end of February and the March to warm weather. Bike season. Time to drop the top on the new Bicomobile. (Coming Soon) And I hope Santa and Cupid were good to ya. In 1995, in Bondi Beach, two young Australian surfers, who were big into design, couldn't find anything to wear that was cool enough AND stood up to the surf. So Bico was born. At first, the line was based off purely Australian influences. But as the company grew, they started adding in cultures from around the world. What are we made of?
All of our pendants and most of our metal elements are made of fine grade pewter. They are then plated with various layers of silver, brass, or copper and finished by hand. Finally, they are coated with a unique protective layer that extends the life of the plating. BTS and BT pendants are hand-polished and not plated. Chains, with the exception of link chains, are made of brass and then plated.
